I love these girls so much. I got to do an impromptu fieldy shoot a few weeks ago with my senior models Hailey, Sammy, Katie and Rachel, and every time I shoot with them I feel more and more lucky to be able to work with them. Ladies, you guys are the BEST and I’m so happy I got to spend a sunny afternoon running around with you in the fields <3 Enjoy this MASSIVE amount of pictures- you girls are so gorgeous I couldn’t narrow it down hehe!

Niki

A few weeks ago, my sweet friend Kirstie of Kirstie Marie Photography invited me out to take pictures with her and my other sweet photographer friend Niki of R Photography, who I’ve had the honor of shooting a few weddings with! Niki is SO CRAZY GORGEOUS and I was so excited to shoot her alongside Kirstie :) I’m so thankful to have been able to make friends like these two girls through photography, and it was seriously the most fun morning ever wandering around fields and woods with them. I could do that all day every day :) Kirstie is a film shooter and therefor shot this entire session on film, so make sure to check out her blog because I think it’s SO amazing to see the difference between film and digital, and her shots are so beautiful. Niki, thank you for being your lovely self and getting in front of our cameras!! Love you girls so much <3 Enjoy!!

Aubrey Cleland

I am SO EXCITED to feature Miss Aubrey Cleland on the blog today!! For those of you who don’t know, Aubrey is an absolutely amazing singer and made it into the top 12 on American Idol this year ahhh. It was so fun to watch her just chattin it up with Ryan Seacrest while I was putting this blog post together last night and watching the show! She’ll be touring around North America with the rest of the Top 10 American Idol contestants this summer so I feel so lucky to have been able to shoot with her before all the craziness started! Aubrey is absolutely beautiful and so talented, but what struck me the most was how incredibly sweet and kind she is- I could have shot and chatted with her all day long :) This girl is going to go so far and I can’t wait to see where her future takes her. Big stuff is coming I just know it :) Aubrey, thank you SO much for shooting with me, you are the loveliest ever <3 Enjoy!!

Allie in the Desert

A few weeks ago I took a little spring vacation and traveled down to Palm Springs- if you haven’t ever been there, let me just tell you that I think it’s one of the most gorgeous places EVER and I always try to do a shoot when I’m there! This year I got to take photos with my ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL friend Allie. Allie drove all the way from LA to shoot with me and I cannot even express how thankful I am that she would take the time to do that – this shoot was seriously the highlight of my trip. We drove all around the area I was staying in, stopping in Palm Tree groves, next to desert hills, grapefruit orchards, and ending right outside of the Coachella Music Festival grounds which was AWESOME because so many of our looks were Coachella inspired! :) Allie, you are such a genuinely kind person and you are crazy gorgeous- I wish we didn’t live so far away so that we could shoot more often, but I can’t wait for the day when we shoot in LA ( Please notice those rhyming skills!! Muahah). Thank you times a million gazillion for shooting with me <3 Enjoy!!!

A Girl and Her Horse

I’m sooooo excited to blog this photoshoot. SO excited. This is my friend Kirstie- I’ve been super blessed to get to know her through both of us loving photography (check out her work HERE!), and I think that if sunshine took human form, Kirstie would be it. She is so warm and kind, has the prettiest smile on the face of the planet, and regularly makes me crack up- I love love love her :) One day I texted her and was like “Hey want to go on a photo adventure this weekend?” And she was like “Ya!” And then, as these things tend to happen duh, our photo adventure turned into a photoshoot with a horse and big princess skirt and beautiful light. BE STILL MY HEART. Kirstie, you are my favorite and you are so incredibly beautiful I can’t even handle it. Enjoy!!!!!!

PS- A huge thanks to Melissa and Gina for being horse wranglers/dog whisperers/assistants/models/the greatest friends ever. We love you.

I’m completely obsessed with Friends Photoshoots. They are seriously the most fun thing in the entire world, and I was SO excited when Sydney contacted me to set one up with her four best friends for her birthday :) We had the prettiest sunny spring day, and I’m in love with both their cute casual outfits AND their amazing black dresses and red lipstick- Pretty Little Liars is my FAVORITE and these gorgeous girls pulled off that look SO WELL. Sydney, Alexa, Kristin, and Michelle, you girls are absolutely drop dead gorgeous and I had the best time with you- I can’t wait for you to see all of these! Enjoy!!

Haley Graham Photography: A Video

So photography is obviously a huge part of my world- it’s my job, what I’m thinking about 24/7 , and most importantly, it’s brought some incredible people into my life. One of these incredible people is my friend Leanne Miller, who is not only a RIDICULOUS wedding photographer but also just an awesome person in general. Leanne is so awesome, in fact, that she asked me if she could make me a video because she’s wanting to get into making them as a part of her business. And so of course I said HECK YES LETS DO IT!

So then six more of the incredible people photography has brought into my life, my beautiful beautiful beautiful Class of 2013 Senior Reps, joined Leanne and I and we spent the whole day making a video that brings to life what the Senior Portrait experience with me is like. I just want every single girl I photograph to feel absolutely beautiful and have the most the fun time and to have pictures of herself that she loves <3 And the fact that making that happen is my JOB blows me away every single day- I am so thankful for you all.

Torrie, Natalie, Sarah, Ally, Lizzie, Hanna, and Taija, I love you girls SO MUCH and I feel so lucky that I’ve been able to get to know you guys over the last year. I need to stop typing because I’ll probably start crying if I continue on, but just know that you seven have a huge chunk of my heart and that I think you are some of the most amazing and gorgeous girls in the whole world. Leanne, I am blessed beyond words to know you and I cannot thank you enough for doing this project, you are wonderful :)

I’m SO excited to announce that the application for Class of 2014 Senior Models is officially open!!

What is a Class of 2014 Senior Model you ask? A Senior Model is someone who represents Haley Graham Photography for their class, spreading the word about senior pictures and referring their classmates to Haley Graham Photography! I’ll be selecting 8 to 10 girls total this year from ANY high school in the Portland Metro area, including high schools in Portland, West Linn, Lake Oswego, Wilsonville, Beaverton, Tualatin, Oregon City, Tigard, etc. I’m looking for girls who are involved, outgoing, stylish, and of course, excited about their senior pictures!

Class of 2014 Senior Models will have a FREE and super amazing photo shoot in the spring, complete with our very own makeup artist, and they will also be able to get discounts on their “official” senior session in the summer/fall! It’s really easy, really fun, and a once in a lifetime experience. I’m so excited for the Class of 2014 and I know everyone who applies for this is going to be amazing!! Portfolio Shoot: Taylor

So I don’t usually get cold when I’m shooting in freezing weather because I usually have so much adrenaline and a puffy coat on that I’m good to go! But the day Taylor and I shot together was literally the most freezing I have ever been on a shoot and I was bundled, so you can only imagine how freezing Taylor must have been. But can you see on it her face? Nope! I love how we were able to shoot bright colors on such a dreary day, and Taylor’s sparkly self only added to that. She’s such a cutie and such a sweetheart- Taylor thank you so much for shooting with me lady!! Enjoy!!
